AWANA stands for, “Approved Workmen Are not Ashamed”. This comes from the Bible verse 2 Timothy 2:15. Which says, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” This exciting program helps chil- dren become invested in God’s Word, memorizing Scripture and letting God’s truth sink deep into their heart. AWANA begins for your child when they are at least three years old and contin- ues through 5th grade. Each night they get to be involved in game time, group time and book time for each age group.

The AWANA program begins at 6:15 p.m. in the children’s worship room. Each child must be checked-in by their parent at our children’s check-in desk located right beside the dining hall. We also offer classes for parents so that you can be studying God’s Word while your child is enjoying AWANA. Check out our small groups section of the website to see which group you would like to try.
